THE EMBASSY
London Wood was invited to restore and repair 250 square meters of 100 year old solid oak floors at the Austrian Embassy in London. The project required London Wood to work around the cloak to achieve tight targets with the minimum interruption to the busy activities of the Embassy.
THE UNIVERSITY
Trinty College Cambridge required the sanding , varnishing and repair of 90 student accommodation rooms, the project was stretched over six months to allow for the rotation of rooms to facilitate the student attendance.
THE NIGHTCLUB
10 Room one of London’s smartest members clubs required a full installation of a new hardwood floor to the main central area , because the venue traded on six nights a week London Wood only had a small window to complete the works. The London Wood team arrived at 3 am on a Saturday night and worked through to Monday morning completing the job in time for a corporate booking on Monday evening.
THE LIBRARY
Bethnal Green Library London Wood was brought in to restore, refurbish and repair the flooring after an appalling attempt of refurbishment had gone wrong. A considerable challenge for London Wood was overcome by team work and cooperation to bring back the natural beauty of the floor which had originally been laid in 1879.

Our consultations are free and without obligation, you may decide to join our unique weekend training course and hire our equipment, we are passionate about floors and would love you to be too.
THE SHOP
Burberry in the Haymarket required a varnish finish to over 1000 square meters of its flagship store in the Haymarket, working exclusively through the night the London Wood team arrived each night at 10pm finishing at 4am each morning to make way for the stores cleaning team and stock takers.
THE MUSEUM
Victoria and Albert Museum in London has over 3 million visitors a year, London Wood led a team to restore, varnish and replace the wood flooring in galleries number 83 and 84, the project which involved more than 400 square meters is a project that London Wood is extremely proud of.
THE HOTEL
Claridge’s Hotel elegant art deco Bar plays host to London’s movers and shakers in the worlds of fashion, film and fortune. Designed by David Collins the original art deco features have been set off beautifully with a silver leafed ceiling, green glass chandelier, red leather banquettes and shiny round tables, topped with a single dark red rose. It is deeply glamorous, has a serious sense of style and a vibrant atmosphere. To Maintain the elegance of this beautiful room London Wood restore the beautiful walnut floor on a regular basis.
THE PALACE
Mansion House is one of the grandest surviving Georgian town palaces in London, with magnificent interiors containing elaborate plasterwork and carved timber ornament. It is unique as the only purpose-built home of the Lord Mayor of the City of London, providing not only living and working space for the Lord Mayor and his household but also room for large ceremonial entertainments and banquets.
