MRS JONES – LEASE PURCHASE
Mrs Jones owned a three bedroom Victorian terrace in East Dulwich, which she marketed at £540K. With the property market slowing, she found that the sale of her property was taking longer than she had hoped, whilst other properties in her area were still selling.
Mrs Jones consulted her estate agents, who advised that in a slowing market buyers were being more cautious in their purchase and looking to maximise value. The estate agents advised her to make a number of improvements to her property including either a refurbishment or replacement of her tired wood floors.
Mrs Jones contacted London Wood who were able to completely replace her entire wood flooring with a sleek oak hardwood and offer a finance package meaning that her weekly commitment until she sold her property was under £20 per week, freeing up cash to make other important improvements.
The property was remarketed and quickly sold for £20,000 over the original asking price.
When Mrs Jones sold her property she was able to settle the outstanding finance arrangement.
